A Credit Card for Blue Student

November 16th, 2007 by admin

The practice of schools restricting – and sometimes even banning – but credit card companionships from soliciting commerce from students on college grounds, still continues. Their logic: to protect students. In accordance with most universities that impose limitations, an undisclosed number of students have been made bankrupt and stopped their studying as the consequence of debt. The problems are whether the companies that give credit cards are to blame as well as whether such an on-campus prohibit is in fact a helpful way of managing student debt.

Quite honestly, the answer is negative on both scores. Possibly the question can be addressed more efficiently through teaching students a (much unnoticed) critical life skill – namely of personal money management – instead. In view of the influence credit has in most Americans lives, credit cards appear to be an ideal realistic medium of instruction, along with the parent and guardian – frequently – the most suitable guide.

There exist quite a number of credit cards intended for the student market. Amusingly, and despite the fact that people have no on-campus attendance, the Blue Student provided by American Express credit cards appears as the company favorite with students. And this the status that parents or guardians of students can capitalize on to educate their children, credit wisdom. So, what makes this Blue Student by American Express credit card such a fine instruction card is the fact that it includes most of the characteristics and benefits that one will ever get in every credit card.

The Blue Student provided by American Express credit card gives good terms as well. They provide a half year 0% APR introductory term, without annual fees, and 12.24% purchase APR plus a grace period of 20 days.
